I’m passionate about data, but outside of work, I’m deeply inspired by Korean culture, food, TV series, and movies. I previously worked in South Korea for several Korean companies, but the highlight of my time there was the opportunity to join the One Philippine Embassy Family. I served as an Interpreter/Translator for the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) and represented the Philippine Overseas Labor Office under the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) as part of the labor office staff.

This is one of the visuals I have used during the Covid19 pandemic showing the effects of implementing a strict or relax covid restrictions. They have different levels and depending on what has been in placed, we can either see a surge or decrease of covid infected patients.
I am planning to use this but with a twist to one of the on-going data challenges.

SOS Children's Villages is a global, non-governmental organization founded in 1949, dedicated to providing loving, family-like homes for children who have lost parental care or are at risk of losing it. Operating in over 130 countries, it focuses on long-term care, education, and health support to empower children and young people to thrive. SOS Children's Villages Pilipinas, established in 1964, is the local chapter of this global movement. It runs eight villages across the Philippines, offering nurturing homes, educational programs, and community-based family strengthening initiatives to support vulnerable children and families.
Helping others has always been one of my greatest inspiration. For those who have known me for a long time, some have even become partners in pursuing my goal of making a difference. This is the first time I am volunteering my professional skills for an NGO, and I am truly excited to support an organization dedicated to helping others. Once I secure a job, I look forward to dedicating my Saturdays to SOS Children's Villages Pilipinas, creating infographics, reports, and dashboards to further their mission.

Overcrowded data bars?
Someone from our FB GC page asked help about data bars and so I showed them multi-lines is another option. But with a twist of course. Like the image on the left, the twist is that you can see all lines' same path as dashed light gray lines. This help you compare a particular line by deselecting them using a slicer while your chosen line becomes the highlight of the view! All native visual. Creativity is the key. What do you think?

A dynamic page with dynamic Q&A view. Choose from 37 Measures I have created for the main page (Executive View)
Automatic-highlighting of Max and min per chart.
Fast calculations. 21 different charts with 37 measures, that's 777 visuals you can use for insights / informed decision-making
add the capability to slice date periods.
- Insights : encounter Class - Age Group
Added Lined-bubble chart. This is all native visuals. Creativity is the key!
This customized visual allowed me to use dimensions on both x and y axis having size of bubble determine its easy-to-understand comparison per age group per encounter class.

- Reactive Sankey Chart!
Normally, you would need to a paid subscription to use a custom sankey chart visual or those available have limitation on what you can add.
So I got the inspiration from an Power BI MVP and developed my own version. Aside from being able to create the data prep automatically so t will automatically refresh whenever there is new data, I made it to filter other visuals based on user-selected category on the sankey chart.
Currently developing it to become fully-dynamic so it will be easier to use together with other visuals.
I have laid out 6 different categories and how the breakdown of revenues per category move to another.

- Triage analysis
This is like a swiss-knife for this dashboard. With 39 measures, simultaneously being refreshed against each other. It's quick it's full of insights. view current year values of any measure. See it's PY, YoY, YoY %, CM, PM, SMLY, MoM, MoM%, CMoSMLY, CMoSMLY %, and many more not added on the view. I'll create a drillthrough page to be able to view other available measures.
But for this page, 39 measures, and 14 slicer measures, that's 546 of measure values you can use to derive insights!
Dynamic formatting. From duration (like 1 day, 8 hrs, 2mins) to Currency, etc. everything is dynamically formatted.
Even shows the period data were summarized

I'm so satisfied! Yes I have created this view without using any custom visual! As much as possible, I have been using purely native visuals or a visual that I have coded manually or improved from the web. Having to see the code by creating it or modifying an existing one, this gives me the satisfaction that I am within bounds of security level being enforced by my client or previous employers. What do you think of the lined-bubble charts below?

One of th most challenging analysis I have worked with is from those companies with subscription data. Calculating their MRR, ARR, LTV, LTV2CAC ratio, etc. is not easy but definitely satisfying.
There's so much insights you can get and those are industry-standard KPIs.
I hope I can work with subscription data again or those with binding contracts.

Yes. I created this Venn Diagram that automatically calculates its center points that when plotted, would show actual sizes of overlapping areas. Still developing it to perfect the overlapping colors, but this is definitely a good addition to my own visuals. You can only see same circle sizes, not dynamic Venn Diagram visualizations. This one is different. I hope I can perfect it so that I might be able to publish and sell it someday!
